We strongly encourage the wearing of school uniform colours as it promotes standards, consistency, team spirits and reduces competition with ‘branded’ clothing.
Our uniform comprises of:
- Jade green sweatshirt/jumper/cardigan
- White Polo Shirt
- Black or dark grey trousers/shorts/skirt/pinafore dress
- Black, white or grey tights/socks
- In the summer children may choose to wear a green gingham dress
Our PE Kit comprises of:
- Black shorts/joggers/leggings
- White T-shirt
- Black sweatshirt/hoodie/fleece
- Trainers/pumps
Our Footwear comprises of:
- Plain black shoes/boots (FOOTWEAR NOT PERMITTED = Heals, sandals or platform footwear)
Please can you ensure that your child’s name is on their uniform, P.E kit and coat, to avoid confusion and make more identifiable if lost.
Items of uniform with our Ward Green Primary logo – including fleeces, t-shirts and sweatshirts – are available to order through school. Purchase of clothing through school is not compulsory and plain clothes can be purchased from shops such as Tesco, Asda and other shops in Barnsley.
