Parking Outside School

Following reports of concerns with parking around school from parents and the local community, we would once again like to reach out to our parents to ensure the safety of our pupils.

 

Parking around schools is a common concern for parents, staff, and the local community. Congested areas and poorly managed parking i.e. parking on the pavement, poses a major safety issue for our children when entering/walking to and from school.

 

Addressing these issues requires cooperation between the school, parents, local authority and the community to create a safer environment around school.  Therefore we would like to request that parents consider the safety aspects when transporting their child to and from school.  Please ensure that the pavements remain a clear walkway for our pupils and the zig zag parking areas are free from obstructions ensuring that our pupils have clear visibility when crossing roads, and entering/exiting the school entrances.
